Brenda is a 1st Assistant Director based in Singapore. Having started her career as a producer, Brenda brings a unique perspective to her work as an AD – understanding how every cog in the machine matters, and moving with care, empathy, and urgency to make sure each production day thrives.

She has served as 1st AD on notable projects such as the Netflix series The Raincoat Killer, online commercial Cristiano Ronaldo x Kickoff by Zuju and the local feature film Wonderland [樂園], winner of the Local Jury Award at the 2024 Palm Springs International Film Festival.
Besides film, Brenda finds creative expression through food by exploring the intersection of culture, memory, and storytelling through culinary experiences. Inspired by Asian culinary traditions and her Hakka heritage, she hosts occasional pop-up events crafting dishes that reflect her diverse influences.
